The EPA wants you to avoid breathing at all costs. Going out with your girlfriends this weekend? The Frisky outlines everything a good Girls Night entails. Prince Harry is in DC, and everyone is peeing themselves over it. Farrah Abraham tried (twice!) to join a Sugar Daddy website. They turned her down. Twice! Think you know our country well? Check out the Ten Things Most Americans Don't know About America. Also, everything our parents taught us growing up was wrong. Oh well.
Elizabeth Warren proposed yesterday that the interest rate student loans are held to should be the same as banks - .75%. It'll be interesting to see what happens with this. A mother has been arrested for leaving her kids at home with her 13 year old daughter, after her neighbor called the cops. That neighbor doesn't sound very neighborly, if you ask me. Some people think that Baz Luhrmann is still getting flappers (and feminism) wrong. A principal in Massachusetts turned a failing school into a thriving one - by firing the security guards and hiring art teachers. To round out Teacher Appreciation Week, the New York Times outlined how low teacher salaries are one of the worst things we can do for our students.
I wasn't sure where to put this, but Allie from Hyperbole and a Half is back with Depression Part 2, and it's amazing, as usual. I missed her posts, and everything about this is perfect. I'm pretty freakin' excited I got an iPad. I'll stop talking about it now. Maybe. I also cleared off my computer desktop, which had gotten beyond cluttered. The only plans I have tonight involve some macaroni and cheese and a bottle of wine. And Happy Endings. I'm excited Gatsby is coming out today, even though I won't see it for a few more weeks with Garrett. On Wednesday, I got a dress at Kohls for $4.80. True story. I get to see my brother and his girlfriend on Sunday! And my parents, obvz, but I see them all the time.
Happy Friday!! xox

Totally agree on Hyperbole and a Half. I definitely have to go back and read her archives! And Farrah Abraham... there are no words...
Have a great weekend!
